Account Manager

Rivar’s, Inc. is a manufacturer of custom performance apparel for youth and adult performing organizations, including show choir, concert choir/band, orchestra, and Sweet Adeline groups. We are seeking an account manager to develop and grow sales revenue through customer management and relationships. Account managers are focused on retaining existing customer relationships, attracting new customers and growing the market share.

Responsibilities:

– Create and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers

– Answer customer questions pertaining to performance apparel advice, sizing for costumes, ordering costumes, caring for costumes, etc.

– Systematically follow-up with customers to ensure all needs are being met

– Order entry

– Collaborate with production department to ensure customer needs are met throughout the ordering process

– Limited travel throughout the year to visit existing customers, seek new customers and promote company

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

– Prior experience in performing organizations, such as show choir, concert choir/band, orchestra, and Sweet Adeline groups a plus

– Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

– Strong organization and time management skills

– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

– Ability to multi-task effectively

– Ability to successfully handle a large customer load

– Enthusiastic and pleasant personality

– Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

– Ability and willingness to travel

– Desire to learn
